About Heather Horton
Heather Horton’s art explores internal states and contemplative narratives, often drawing from her own life. A graduate of McMaster University and Sheridan College's Interpretive Illustration program, she has exhibited regularly since 2004. Her work has been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including her recent solo show, Love Story, in Toronto (2020).
Horton’s paintings are part of private and corporate collections worldwide, including the Canadian Embassy in Ankara and the Government of Ontario’s permanent collection. She was also featured in the Bravo! Canada series The Artist’s Life.
Her artwork appears in the Lionsgate film A Simple Favor, and she is represented by Abbozzo Gallery in Toronto.
