New Exhibition: Fredrichs Pontone NYC
Share
I'm pleased to share that a new group of my paintings is now on view in the exhibition Filigree at Friedrichs Pontone in New York.
These works continue my exploration of perception and interior space. Lace and filigree patterns move across the compositions as a delicate counterpoint to the geometric structures that frame the figures, creating a subtle tension between ornament and architecture.
The title Filigree refers to the intricate ornamental networks often found in decorative arts. In these paintings, that delicacy becomes a way to explore the boundaries between perception and reality, where quiet interior scenes suggest something just beyond the visible.
If you happen to be in New York, I hope you’ll stop by the gallery.
