Bus 142 Exhibition

Recently, had the incredible opportunity to visit the Bus 142 Exhibition at The University of Alaska’s Museum of the North in Fairbanks! It was inspiring to witness the hard work behind categorizing, archiving, conserving, and displaying the bus alongside Christopher’s story.

A huge thank you to Della and Angela for the tour, which included seeing three of my paintings that will be featured in the exhibition! It was also wonderful to see the intricately carved belt that Chris made years ago. 

My works—“Bus 142,” “A Special Meal,” and “Chris’s Tent, Stampede Trail,” all in oil—will be on display when the exhibition officially opens in the autumn of 2025. I hope you can join me in Fairbanks at the wonderful Museum of the North to celebrate its unveiling
